From the very first illustration I was drawn in. I kept wanting to stare at the frogs to figure out what they were thinking. It was obvious they were having a great time as they rode their lily pads throughout the night. Wiesner's style of illustration invites children to put their own stories to these wordless pictures. Wiesner's books do tend to lean towards older children even if they are wordless. I think seven and up would like this book. Would I recommend this book? YES. it fires the imagination.
