"too Much" Disney related commentary for me.
I need the MEAT; not the fluff... half a star!

This one was just okay. I felt much of the information seemed a bit old fashioned (and I'm speaking as a 66 year old grandmother).

Great book! Makes you think about how your behaviour affects your children, and not only when it comes to learning/homeschooling.
I agree with the previous comment that this book is more for people who have already started homeschooling, and that Susan wise Bauer's book Rethinking school is a better book to read if you still aren't sure if this is for you.

A good refresher / primer for parents who are already homeschooling. Not recommended as a solo text for parents exploring the idea. I would recommend this book along with RETHINKING SCHOOL by Susan Wise Bauer for those thinking about taking the leap.
