Told through the eyes of many, the little inn grows to become a sprawling historic presence in the town of Mallow. From Roman times to 1975, the changes in reputation are many, but it always seems to come back around in the end. Each generation adds to the story and charm as time passes blithely by. One of Norah Lofts best efforts in a long career of wonderful storytelling.
