There are some useful tips in here about how to be slim but I didn't really enjoy the formatting of the book. There would be tips organized by header, then you sort of reward yourself points for following them. For example, if you avoid the middle aisle at supermarkets, you get 3 points and if you substitute a sweet drink with water, you'd get 1 point, etc. I just found the biased weighted point-based system that reward your good behaviors an unnecessary over-complication. After all, we don't all need weight loss to be game-ified. Also some people struggle in areas that others don't, so the fact that one behavior gives 3 points and another 1 doesn't really make sense to me. I browsed the book for some ideas but totally ignored the point-based system. I listen to Jillian's podcasts and watch her exercise videos sometimes, but this book really didn't work for me. It's to browse and not to read. I preferred "Master Your Metabolism."
