As foretold by ancient prophets, an apocalypse destroyed Earth during the twenty-first century. But two thousand years later Elyon set upon the Earth a new Adam. This time, He gave humanity an advantage. What was once unseen became seen. It was good and it was called . . . Green. But the evil Teeleh bided his time in a Black Forest. Then, when least expected, twenty-four-year-old Thomas Hunter fell asleep in our world and awoke in that future Black Forest.

Not as great as the others in the series, in my opinion. Still good, but reading it last made me not think as well of the series.

I found this an excellent read as it continues to another book which i plan to get. I was struck on how closely it follows our own history except for we are unable to see the evil in our world dirctly, I thought it was genuis to turn the story back to the beginning so that Thomas could rescue his son albeit unknown to him, reminds me on how we need to trust God in our own daily lives

the ending was a little disappointing but a good read.

I have read all of the books in this series and this was the most disappointing. There are two reasons for this, first, the ending is lacking in the comprehensive victory that it should have. Second, the focus of the book is more on the evil and after slogging through page after page of evil victory (in gruesome detail) there is little redemption.

Overall a disapointment.
