I thought this was a great book! I happened on it at a resale store and took a chance on an author I'd never heard of. I'm glad I did. Although it seems it's the 2nd book in a series it stood on its own. I'm looking forward to the first one. My favorite quote is: " I may not always remember but I never forget."
A murder who-done-it book with lots of twists to keep the pages turning. I peek at the New York rich folks and the games they play while trying to stay rich or get richer and the lengths they will go to. The main character, Jo, is recently back in her circle of friends after a couple years of trying to get back into the 'in crowd" following her husband's death that left her far from being one of the super rich where she was accepted. Frivolous as it sounds it's chock full of witty remarks and lots of tongue-in-cheek word play, especially from Jo's goofy best friend. A great summer, or anytime, read!
