I decided to read something from the recent past; something from John Updike; a change of pace for me. This is a love story, possibly dated during it's time, of love and infidelities and social mores during that time. I've never read John Updike and wanted to very much. I thought it was an entertaining read at times but got bogged down by the simple storyline.
