This is the 2nd book that follows another book that gives you a much more detailed account on snow, his dog, and his 2 other friends and what's going on in the town snow lives in called Moonlit Bay. The 2nd book continues the story. Both books are phenomenal and eerie! There is also another book called Watchers that had a animal lab in it and it is briefly mentioned in the first or second book. It is also an awesome book

Continuing on in his effort to learn more about his beginnings and what insanity has lead to the current situation in his town, we get to tag along with Chris Snow and his crew to solve another mystery.

Chris Snow as a character preceded Odd Thomas by a few years. You will definitely see similarities between the two and yet, much as any two "brothers" there are many interesting distinctions to separate the two.

I found the dialogue exceptionally
entertaining and even though I'm not usually a reader of fantasy,
that was good enough for me to complete this book.
