This is a great book to help students create Deep-Thinking Questions (as per the Reading Power program by Adrienne Gear). Each page has an imaginative illustration, and an "If..." clause which is left unfinished. Readers then have the opportunity to finish with a question or statement. For example, on the page for "If frogs ate rainbows..." students might finish with "would they still croak the same way?"
A total of 20 illustrations/"If..." statements.
